Welcome To Moodle

Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is a course management system or virtual learning environment. It is also used as “a verb that describes the process of lazily meandering through something, doing things as it occurs to you to do them, an enjoyable tinkering that often leads to insight and creativity.” Teachers at Barnstable can use Moodle as part of the learning environments they create for their students. Moodle is also used as a tool to provide professional development, host resources for faculty, and to work collaboratively with other districts.

Course Requests

Any faculty member, who wishes to use Moodle as part of their learning environment, many now request a course directly through Moodle. Please navigate to the course page. To do so click all courses in the course categories block on the left. Once on the course list page, scroll to the bottom to see the course request button. Fill out the form and the course request will be submitted for approval.
